Role overview

Pastry production

• Prepares pastries, cakes, desserts, creams, fillings, doughs, tart shells, sauces, and garnishes.
• Follows approved recipes, methods, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Supports baking, assembly, finishing, decoration, packing, and display preparation.
• Prepares ingredients, tools, molds, trays, and equipment for production.
• Helps meet daily production schedules, service requirements, events, and display needs.
• Maintains product quality, consistency, freshness, appearance, and portioning; reports defects and preparation mistakes.
• Supports stock handling, careful storage, and waste reduction.

Hygiene and team support

• Keeps pastry work and storage areas clean and organized and cleans tools and equipment as required.
• Follows food safety, hygiene, FIFO, labeling, expiry-control, and municipality standards.
• Stores ingredients and finished products correctly and reports low, damaged, expired, or unsuitable stock.
• Follows instructions, completes assigned tasks on time, and works with the team to support efficient production.
• Learns pastry techniques, baking methods, finishing, decoration, equipment use, and hygiene standards.

Required skills and experience

• Previous experience as a Pastry Commis, Pastry Assistant, Kitchen Commis, or similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pastry production, baking, creams, doughs, cakes, and desserts is advantageous.
• Can follow recipes, instructions, and presentation standards accurately.
• Understands hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
• Shows attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, willingness to learn, discipline, and teamwork.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,500–4,200 per month.

• Work location is in person.
