Location and schedule
- The role is in person in Shabiya, Abu Dhabi.
- The schedule includes one weekly day off.
Pay and benefits
- Salary is AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
- The company provides a visa and health insurance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery items.
- Follow standard recipes and maintain consistent taste and quality; prepare and decorate items to presentation standards.
- Maintain portion control, minimize food waste, and ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Monitor ingredient stocks and inform management when supplies are low.
- Keep the pastry preparation area clean and organized.
- Assist with new pastry and dessert development when required.
- Follow daily production schedules and company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role; two years of pastry experience is required.
- Good knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation and ability to follow standard recipes accurately.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety.
- Creative, hardworking, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a busy bakery shop.
- Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred; Abu Dhabi commute or relocation before starting is preferred.
