Role overview

Working pattern

• The role follows a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00.
• Employment is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and supply vehicle parts accurately and efficiently.
• Assist technicians, workshop staff, and customers with parts enquiries.
• Manage stock control and inventory levels.
• Order parts from suppliers and track deliveries.
• Process invoices, returns, and warranty items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive parts environment.
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory systems and stock control processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate and optimal stock levels.
• Experience managing surplus, aged, and obsolete stock.
• IT literacy is required, while automotive parts systems experience is advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
