Role overview

Partner Relationship Manager in Bendigo Bank's Third Party Banking division.

Own end-to-end relationships, growth, and commercial strategy across three White Label partnerships.

Role is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in a head office location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies across three partnerships and manage portfolio KPIs and pipelines.
  • Build strategic relationships with partner senior leaders and sales, operations, and compliance teams.
  • Manage operational, credit, and conduct risks and ensure partner activities meet policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and report performance data to identify trends, commercial opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Credit Assessment, Mortgage Operations, Marketing, and Contact Centre teams.
  • Provide operational direction and coaching to Partner Relationship Associates.
  • Lead initiatives to improve White Label and broker value propositions.

Requirements

  • Experience in third-party banking, White Label lending, mortgage aggregators, or broker networks, with a solid grasp of residential credit policy.
  • Background in business development, strategic partner management, or financial-services sales.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills for complex commercial discussions and executive relationships.
  • Ability to interpret partner performance data and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking.

Work arrangements

  • Hybrid work model with a local head office attendance requirement determined by the leader.
  • The role may be based in any of the bank's head office locations.

Third-Party Banking delivers a substantial share of the bank's revenue through mortgage broker distribution.

The division focuses on customer and partner experience and White Label partnerships.
