Opportunity

What you'll do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of large, complex agribusiness clients, providing meaningful insights and tailored financial solutions.
• Formally lead, coach and develop three to four Agribusiness Managers, overseeing day-to-day performance and career development.
• Review and endorse lending proposals, exercise Delegated Lending Authority and uphold risk management standards across the team.
• Represent Bendigo Bank in regional communities, expand professional networks and build referral partnerships with industry stakeholders.
• Model company values and inspire the team to deliver results for customers and communities.

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience in agribusiness or commercial banking, with knowledge of agricultural markets, complex credit structures and financial analysis.
• A demonstrable record managing a high-value, complex client portfolio and delivering excellent customer experience.
• A desire to lead, mentor and develop others; formal management experience is valued, but demonstrated coaching aptitude is also considered.
• A record of successful business development, strategic thinking and converting new business opportunities.
• Tertiary qualification in a business- or finance-related discipline.
