Part Time, Central Sterile Processing Lab Instructor (Adjunct)

The Part Time, Central Sterile Processing Lab Instructor (Adjunct) is responsible for providing supervision and instruction during laboratory requirements of central sterile processing courses at the Davie Campus (Mocksville, NC) of Davidson-Davie Community College. The Lab Instructor reports to the Division Chair, Davie Academic Programs. Essential Job Functions: Deliver instruction, supervision, and timely assessment of students during laboratory sessions in the Central Sterile Processing curriculum, ensuring alignment with program requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment in accordance with established safety standards and protocols. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the college’s mission, goals, and strategic initiatives.

Deliver instruction, supervision, and timely assessment of students during laboratory sessions in the Central Sterile Processing curriculum, ensuring alignment with program requirements.

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment in accordance with established safety standards and protocols.

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the college’s mission, goals, and strategic initiatives.

ADA requirements for this position include critical thinking skills with the ability to process information and exercise good judgment; ease of mobility within the work environment and other areas of campus and College locations; travel between campus locations may be required; and effective use of all forms of communication including use of computers.
