Position details

Painting and surface work

• Apply paint, stains, and other finishes to hotel walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
• Remove old finishes by stripping wallpaper, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or water and abrasive blasting.
• Protect surfaces during painting and post signs to indicate wet paint.
• Clean and store paint, tools, and equipment appropriately.
• Coordinate with suppliers to adjust paint, stain, or varnish colors.

Safety and guest service

• Follow company and safety procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, and follow company policies.
• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, support team goals, and meet quality standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Desirable qualifications

• A technical, trade, or vocational school diploma is desirable.
• At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
• Supervisor experience is not required; no license or certification is specified.

Physical demands

• Tasks include reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and climbing ladders.
• The role requires handling objects of different sizes and weights and moving objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• The work involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.

Location

• The position is located on Salwa Road in Doha, Qatar.
