Compensation

• Expected annual salary range is $93,000 to $117,000.

Work arrangement

Essential functions

• Implement sales plans and growth strategies to achieve annual performance objectives.
• Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to meet customer needs.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity, sharing information internally to inform strategy and corrective actions.
• Promote products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal personnel to achieve team sales and orders goals.
• Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships.
• Develop bid strategies and quotations using pricing and delivery guidelines to improve sales volume and margins.
• Provide sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and consultants.

Required qualifications

• College diploma, university degree, or Red Seal Electrician ticket from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of sales or customer-facing work experience.
• Must be able to work in Canada now and in the future without corporate sponsorship.
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Preferred qualifications and success factors

• A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Five years of technical experience in the electrical industry is preferred.
• P.Eng. or CET designation is preferred.
• The successful candidate is an agile learner who understands customer needs, organizations, channel strategy, and pricing.
