Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure a professional and profitable outlet operation within the hotel’s framework.
- Identify departmental training needs with the hotel training manager, deliver required training, support Departmental Trainers, and implement daily departmental training.
- Achieve departmental budget goals through sales revenue and efficient cost expenditure.
- Forecast business demands to support efficient staffing and food production.
- Manage outlet accounting and billing procedures.
- Work with hotel management to develop and execute outlet marketing plans, and promote and support Anantara Guest Incentive programs.
- Schedule outlet managers and associates and supervise the associate time-control system.
- Conduct associate reviews and appraisals professionally and on time.
- Train managers and supervisors in coaching, counseling, and progressive discipline processes.
- Maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage outlet property and facilities and conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections.
- Promote positive interdepartmental relations, coordinate with Banqueting to support requested functions, and lead by example to motivate associates.
