Outbound Logistics Analyst I

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead store-to-store transfer execution and outbound freight claims.
• Design and publish KPIs for carrier performance, service-level agreements, on-time delivery goals, and quarterly business reviews.
• Support outbound logistics cost-saving initiatives and identify process improvements aligned with department goals.
• Support freight procurement, rate management, monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and ad hoc projects for the Assistant Manager – Logistics.
• Partner with Distribution, Store Operations, Vendor Relations, Finance, and IT on project plans and business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree focused on Business, Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• One to three years of knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and produce clear, accurate, meaningful reports and analyses.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams; customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong systems aptitude and working knowledge of transportation systems support.
• General appreciation for supply-chain technology solutions, including TMS, WMS, yard management, and EDI.
