Oracle HCM Functional Consultant - Procurement

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation and transformation projects; gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Configure Procurement modules, workflows, approval hierarchies, purchasing policies, requisitions, and purchase orders; optimize processes using Oracle Fusion best practices.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification, registration, and lifecycle processes; prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and user documentation.
• Support integrations with Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle Cloud modules, working with technical teams on interfaces, reports, and extensions.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and master-data activities; lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment.
• Develop and support OTBI and BI Publisher reports and analytics; provide go-live, hypercare, and post-production functional support.
• Conduct workshops, demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and user training; collaborate with stakeholders and recommend process improvements aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices.

Required qualifications

• 10–20 years of Oracle Procurement/ERP functional consulting experience, with significant Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement experience.
• Strong Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation experience; one or more end-to-end implementations are preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Procure-to-Pay processes, including Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, and Procurement Contracts.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, functional documentation, and functional specifications.
• Experience with OTBI and BI Publisher reporting and integrations with Oracle Fusion Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle modules.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, presentation, and analytical skills; experience with onsite/offshore delivery teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Preferred qualifications

• Large-scale Oracle Fusion Procurement transformation or implementation experience is advantageous.
• Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, and Supplier Lifecycle Management knowledge is desirable.
• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud and Procurement integrations is advantageous; REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL/HSDL, and data migration experience are also advantageous.
• Oracle Fusion Procurement security, roles, approval rules, and workflow configuration knowledge is desirable.
• Complex OTBI analyses, dashboards, BI Publisher reports, and Oracle Fusion Inventory, Order Management, or Financials experience are beneficial.
• GCC/UAE procurement experience, client-facing consulting experience, and Agile or structured Oracle implementation methodology experience are advantageous.
• Oracle Procurement Cloud/Fusion certification is preferred.
