Seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Procurement Functional Consultant with 10–20 years of overall experience and strong Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement expertise.
The role involves end-to-end implementations, functional configuration, business process analysis, requirements gathering, testing, reporting, and production support.
The consultant works with business stakeholders, procurement teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation and transformation projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional solutions and configure Oracle Fusion Procurement modules.
- Design and optimize procurement processes, workflows, approval hierarchies, purchasing policies, requisitions, and purchase orders.
- Support supplier onboarding, qualification, registration, and lifecycle processes.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios, and user documentation.
- Support integrations with Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle Cloud modules; work with technical teams on interfaces, reports, and extensions.
- Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and master-data activities.
- Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployments.
- Develop procurement reports and analytics using OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Provide go-live, hypercare, and post-production support; conduct workshops, demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and user training.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, procurement and finance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices.
Required skills and qualifications
- 10–20 years of Oracle Procurement/ERP functional consulting experience, including significant Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement experience.
- Strong Oracle Fusion Procurement implementation experience; one or more end-to-end implementations are preferred.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, and Procurement Contracts.
- Understanding of procurement processes, purchasing cycles, supplier management, and approval workflows.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, functional configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with OTBI and BI Publisher for procurement reporting and analytics.
- Experience integrating Procurement with Oracle Fusion Financials, Inventory, Projects, and other Oracle modules.
- Strong functional documentation and functional-specification preparation experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and analytical skills; experience with onsite/offshore delivery teams.
- Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Good to have
- Experience with large-scale Oracle Fusion Procurement transformation or implementation programs.
- Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay and Source-to-Contract.
