Role overview
Oversee factory day-to-day operations from receipt of approved work orders through production, quality control, dispatch, and installation coordination.
Accountable for timely delivery, workmanship, workforce productivity, cost control, and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Plan production schedules, assign tasks, and ensure jobs meet agreed deadlines.
- Supervise production staff, technicians, and installation teams.
- Ensure work follows approved designs, dimensions, materials, and client specifications.
- Manage material requirements, stock usage, purchasing requests, and waste reduction.
- Monitor machinery readiness and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Resolve operational issues and enforce quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, and management throughout projects.
- Submit daily reports on job progress, completed work, delays, material needs, and corrective actions.
Skills and requirements
- Proven supervisory experience in an advertising, signage, printing, or fabrication factory.
- Practical knowledge of signage fabrication, large-format printing, acrylic work, cladding, and installation.
- Strong skills in production planning, team leadership, quality control, and problem-solving.
- Ability to read work orders and technical drawings and manage multiple projects.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Al Khobar and take ownership of factory performance.
