Operations Supervisor

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily waste collection, transportation, and site operations; coordinate drivers, helpers, vehicles, equipment, and site activities.
• Plan collection schedules and routes; coordinate with clients, site personnel, drivers, and management.
• Maintain operational records, reports, permits, manifests, and supporting documents; manage transactions through Tadweer Portal and government systems.
• Ensure compliance with Tadweer/EAD requirements and company procedures; coordinate with HSE personnel on safe working practices.
• Monitor vehicle and equipment availability with Fleet/Maintenance and conduct site inspections to monitor performance.
• Ensure proper waste segregation, handling, loading, transportation, and delivery to approved facilities.
• Report issues, delays, incidents, and non-conformities; support client inspections, audits, meetings, and other operational requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience with Bolisaty, waste management, and waste transport is required for each listed experience area.
• Experience in waste management, logistics, environmental services, or a related industry, and knowledge of waste collection, transport, manifests, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Good coordination, communication, reporting, team-management, and Microsoft Office/Excel skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities.
• A valid UAE driving license is required.
• A relevant diploma or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Tadweer Portal experience and hands-on waste-management documentation experience are preferred or advantageous.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Compensation

• Starting salary is AED 3,500 per month and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
• Other benefits will be discussed during the interview.

Workplace and travel

• Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Willingness to travel 75% is required.
