The Team You Will Join
You’ll be part of MetLife’s Retail Operations Division, specifically within the New Business team, which plays a critical role in onboarding new customers across Agency, Bancassurance, and IFA channels.
The team ensures accurate policy administration, compliance, and exceptional service delivery to support MetLife’s mission of building a confident future for our customers.
The Opportunity
- The New Business Operations Processor is responsible for executing end-to-end new business processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of insurance policies across multiple channels.
- This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence and delivering a seamless customer experience.
- You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse tasks, from policy administration to compliance screening, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive efficiency and quality.
- Success in this role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- The New Business Operations officer will manage policy processing, compliance checks, and documentation while supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead the accurate processing of new insurance applications and policy changes.
- Create and maintain complete and compliant customer records in the policy administration system.
- Oversee compliance screening for OFAC, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
- Manage premium calculations, refunds, and commission adjustments using approved rates.
- Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with Underwriting, Finance, IT, and other departments to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
What You Need To Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with policy administration systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Insurance or underwriting experience is an advantage.
