Vast Group is growing rapidly, and we're looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to lead our Operations and Merchant Onboarding teams as we continue scaling across Saudi Arabia.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own the operational engine that powers merchant activation, onboarding, support coordination, and day-to-day service delivery.

You will be responsible for ensuring every merchant experiences a smooth journey from contract signing through activation and ongoing operations.

Operations Management

  • Lead and manage the Operations and Merchant Onboarding teams.
  • Own operational KPIs, service levels, onboarding timelines, and merchant activation targets.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and workflows.
  • Ensure efficient coordination between Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Drive operational excellence across all merchant-facing processes.

Merchant Onboarding & Activation

  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding journey from contract signing to successful activation.
  • Ensure merchants are onboarded efficiently and within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate integrations with payment providers, POS systems, and third-party partners.
  • Monitor onboarding pipelines and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure onboarding documentation, training, and merchant communication standards are maintained.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the merchant onboarding experience.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing operations and onboarding team members.
  • Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and accountability frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, speed, collaboration, and customer obsession.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team development initiatives.

Customer Experience & Service Delivery

  • Ensure operational issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical merchant issues.
  • Work closely with support teams to improve merchant satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify recurring operational challenges and implement long-term solutions.

Process Improvement & Scaling

  • Build scalable operational frameworks that support rapid company growth.
  • Implement operational controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Leverage technology and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Support new product launches, operational initiatives, and strategic projects.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Operations, Customer Success, Merchant Operations, or Service Delivery roles.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing operational teams.
  • Proven experience building and scaling operational processes in fast-growing startups.
  • Experience within fintech, payments, SaaS, POS, technology, or high-growth startup environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing onboarding, implementation, activation, or merchant operations teams is a strong advantage.

  • Strong bilingual communication skills (Arabic & English).
