Job Profile

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency across warehouse, logistics, inventory management, and overall business processes.

The role focuses on optimizing operational performance, managing teams, controlling costs, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement to support business growth and customer satisfaction..

1. Operations Management

· Oversee end-to-end business operations to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.

· Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, dispatch, and shipping activities.

· Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and operational excellence.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, health and safety standards, and quality requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure product availability.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

· Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse, logistics, and inventory teams.

· Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of operational staff.

· Establish performance goals, KPIs, and productivity targets for team members.

· Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

· Address operational issues and resolve team-related challenges effectively.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

· Prepare and manage operational budgets and resource allocation plans.

· Monitor operational expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.

· Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining operational standards and service quality.

· Track operational expenditures and provide recommendations for improved financial performance.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

· Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and service vendors to ensure efficient operations.

· Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing terms to optimize costs and service levels.

· Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while meeting quality standards.

5. Reporting & Analytics

· Monitor and analyze key operational performance indicators (KPIs).

· Prepare regular operational reports for senior management.

· Utilize data and performance metrics to support decision-making and operational improvements.

· Conduct operational reviews and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

6. Technology & Automation

· Leverage technology and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.

· Implement and maintain systems for inventory management, warehouse operations, and workflow tracking.

· Support digital transformation initiatives to streamline business processes.

· Ensure effective utilization of ERP and other operational management systems.
