Lead the overall refurbishment operation from equipment receipt through production, quality clearance, and dispatch.
Accountable for delivery commitments, operating costs, capacity utilisation, and coordination across Production, Quality, Stores, and Logistics.
Work arrangement
- Full-time, on-site role at SAIF Zone, Sharjah, UAE.
Operational delivery and improvement
- Translate sales forecasts and order priorities into operating plans, capacity requirements, manpower budgets, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee inbound processing, grading, repair, refurbishment, testing, packing, and dispatch; resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Set department-head targets and review output, turnaround time, productivity, cost per unit, and customer returns.
- Coordinate spare-parts availability and inventory with Procurement and Stores; reduce excess stock and improve material utilisation.
- Improve workflows, layouts, procedures, and resource allocation by identifying bottlenecks.
- Investigate recurring defects, customer complaints, and returns with Quality, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Control operating expenses, overtime, outsourcing, and wastage within approved budgets; recommend cost improvements.
People, safety, and reporting
- Develop team leaders, plan staffing and training, and coordinate attendance and workforce requirements with HR.
- Ensure safe working practices, electrostatic discharge controls, equipment maintenance, secure device handling, and approved data sanitisation.
- Present operational dashboards, risks, and improvement plans to management; maintain reliable ERP records and audit readiness.
Experience and qualifications
- 7–10 years of refurbishment or manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years managing operations or multiple operational teams.
- Electronics, laptop, or IT hardware refurbishment experience is strongly preferred, including familiarity with repair, testing, grading, and quality processes.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience is considered.
- Capability in production planning, cost control, inventory coordination, process improvement, team leadership, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Pay
- AED 5,000–10,000 per month.
Performance measures
Measures include on-time dispatch, operational turnaround time, cost per unit, capacity utilisation, inventory accuracy, customer returns, and safety performance.
