Onsite Technician

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex electro-mechanical devices using the company's troubleshooting methodology.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrate customer tools and quality equipment using the SPIRIT asset management system.
• Complete software upgrades and test new communication interfaces.
• Configure new customer systems and perform pre-delivery testing.
• Work with global engineering and quality teams to investigate customer issues and improve product performance.
• Handle special projects and shop-related tasks.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree from an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational institution.
• Graduates in an electro-mechanical, electronics, or technology program are preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in taking equipment apart and reassembling it.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable collaborating in a team environment.

Compensation

• Expected compensation range is $53,418–$63,425 per year; final compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
