Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
  • Interest in athletics, event management, sports administration, coaching, or facility operations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the athletics event schedule.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in athletics, event operations, facility management, customer service, or parking operations.
  • Familiarity with collegiate athletics and event environments.
  • Working Conditions
  • Primarily works in athletic venues and outdoor environments.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and during large public events.
  • Compensation:
  • The hourly rate for this position is $20.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
