Qualifications:

  • Two years of general maintenance experience in a large educational, healthcare, or residential complex or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A valid New York State Driver's License.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be safety conscious.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and bending, as well as the capability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the business need, including weekends.
  • The ability to foster and enhance a thriving, diverse, inclusive, and culturally vibrant community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, faculty and staff colleagues, and alumni.
  • Compensation:
  • The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The stated hiring rate/range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
