About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Office Engineer
to support our roads and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material submissions
- Coordinate with consultants, project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors
- Prepare RFIs, method statements, progress reports, and project documentation
- Monitor project schedules and assist in planning activities
- Maintain proper documentation and records for ongoing projects
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material tracking
- Support procurement and technical coordination activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contract requirements
- Prepare project correspondence and technical reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3–7 years of UAE experience in roads and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Roads & infrastructure works
- Technical documentation
- Project coordination
- Material submittals and shop drawings
- Experience with Abu Dhabi Municipality standards preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Candidate
- Previous experience in infrastructure and road construction companies in the UAE
- Strong technical and coordination capabilities
- Immediate joiners preferred
