Role overview
Lead client-facing pre-sales, solution architecture, and end-to-end Odoo Enterprise implementation for the employer’s Qatar practice.
Work with clients to translate organizational workflows into Odoo specifications, with support from an offshore technical team.
Pre-sales and solution engineering
- Run discovery workshops with prospects in trading, contracting, services, and manufacturing.
- Deliver tailored Odoo Enterprise demonstrations and help prepare proposals, scopes, and effort estimates.
Business analysis and delivery
- Gather requirements, map processes, perform gap analyses, and prepare BRDs and FRS documents for client sign-off.
- Turn approved requirements into work orders for the offshore team in India; oversee milestones, functional reviews, and scope.
Configuration, testing, and adoption
- Configure Odoo Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting/Invoicing, HR/Payroll, Project, and Manufacturing modules.
- Lead UAT and user training, provide post-go-live hypercare, and guide data migration, master-data mapping, and initial financial balancing.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 4–6+ years of hands-on Odoo Enterprise functional consulting; the posting lists 4 years as required and cites Qatar/GCC full-lifecycle implementations.
- Expertise in accounting and invoicing, including Dhareeba tax compliance, supply chain/inventory, and HR/payroll.
- Solid knowledge of Odoo.sh, Odoo Studio customization boundaries, and REST/API integrations, including Power BI, WhatsApp, and payment gateways.
Languages and certification
- English fluency is mandatory; professional Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Official Odoo Functional Certification is highly desirable.
- Two years with Odoo.sh environments and Odoo Studio customization boundaries is preferred.
Pay and incentives
- Pay is QAR 4,000–5,000 per month.
