Position
Nursery Plant Salesman in the plant nursery and landscaping industry.
Minimum experience stated: 2 years.
Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Attend to customers and understand requirements for indoor, outdoor, ornamental, and landscape plants.
- Explain plant varieties, sizes, prices, planting requirements, and maintenance.
- Recommend suitable plants based on site conditions, sunlight, soil, irrigation, and customer requirements.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and delivery details.
- Maintain records of sales, customer inquiries, and plant orders.
- Coordinate with the nursery team on availability, preparation, loading, and delivery.
- Monitor plant stock and report low-stock and fast-moving varieties to management.
- Keep plants displayed, healthy, clean, and presentable.
- Follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries, and repeat business.
- Coordinate supply requirements with landscape contractors and project teams.
- Achieve sales targets, develop customer relationships, and handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursery plant sales, landscaping, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ornamental plants, shrubs, groundcovers, palms, trees, indoor plants, and seasonal plants.
- Communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, irrigation, soil, fertilizers, and landscaping.
- Basic computer knowledge and quotation preparation skills.
Preferred skills and experience
- UAE nursery or landscaping experience is preferred.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.

- AED 2,000–2,500 per month.
