Garden Maintanance supervisor

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise pruning, trimming, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, and planting.
• Monitor plant health, identify pests and diseases, and coordinate treatment.
• Inspect and maintain drip lines, sprinklers, valves, controllers, and other irrigation components.
• Schedule daily work and assign tasks to gardeners and maintenance workers.
• Inspect sites and ensure maintenance quality.
• Monitor tools, equipment, fertilizers, and materials.
• Coordinate with clients, site engineers, and management on maintenance needs and site issues.
• Prepare progress, maintenance, inspection, and material requirement reports.
• Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and safe work practices.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance; ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and client instructions.
• Report plant replacements, irrigation failures, material shortages, and site issues to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant garden maintenance or landscaping supervision experience.
• Practical experience operating and inspecting irrigation systems and performing basic troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of ornamental plants, shrubs, trees, lawns, fertilizers, and pest control.
• Ability to supervise a team of gardeners and maintenance workers.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills; able to prepare schedules and progress reports.
• A diploma or qualification in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE landscaping practices and climatic conditions is preferred.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Compensation
