Job Summary
The Male Nurse is responsible for providing on-site medical care, first aid, and health support to construction workers.
The role ensures immediate response to injuries, promotes health and safety practices, and maintains compliance with project HSE standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to injured or ill workers on site
- Assess medical conditions and arrange transfer to hospital if required
- Maintain and regularly inspect first aid kits, medical supplies, and equipment
- Keep accurate records of incidents, treatments, and medical logs
- Monitor workers’ health conditions and report any concerns to HSE team
- Assist in emergency drills and evacuation procedures
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local health regulations
- Support occupational health programs and worker wellness initiatives
- Educate workers on hygiene, safety, and basic health practices
- Coordinate with nearby hospitals/clinics for emergencies
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of site clinic or medical room
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Valid Nursing License (DOH / DHA / MOH as applicable in UAE)
- **Minimum 2–3 years of experience (preferably in construction or industrial sites)**
- Certified in First Aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
- Good communication skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to work on-site conditions
