Network Security Architect

About This Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures.

The role involves acting as a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) , driving network and cybersecurity architecture across enterprise environments, and supporting both delivery and presales initiatives.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Design

• Design and validate scalable network architectures
• Develop architecture blueprints for:
• LAN, WLAN, WAN
• VPN and cloud connectivity
• Create secure infrastructure designs incorporating:
• Firewalls
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
• Endpoint security solutions

2. Security Architecture

• Develop enterprise security architecture frameworks
• Integrate security controls across applications, infrastructure, and networks
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards

3. Strategic Leadership & Advisory

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams
• Provide proactive recommendations to optimize IT environments
• Guide organizations in adopting secure and scalable architectures

4. Technology Selection & Optimization

• Evaluate and recommend network and security technologies
• Select appropriate protocols, tools, and platforms based on:
• Performance
• Security
• Scalability requirements

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• IT teams
• Developers
• Business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture designs

6. Presales & Solutioning

• Lead RFP/RFI responses and technical proposal development
• Create architecture strategies and operating models for bids
• Deliver client presentations, demos, and solution pitches
• Support sales teams in achieving revenue targets

7. Governance & Best Practices

• Define and enforce network and security standards
• Provide training and awareness on security best practices
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

8. Mentorship & Team Leadership

• Provide technical guidance to engineering and operations teams
• Mentor junior engineers and architects
• Promote knowledge sharing and capability development

9. Client Engagement & Delivery Support

• Manage client interactions and technical discussions
• Support solution implementation and deployment strategies
• Orchestrate client visits and technical workshops

10. Knowledge Management

• Develop reusable assets such as:
• Architecture templates
• Case studies
• Standard presentations
• Maintain a centralized repository of technical content

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
