About the opportunity

What you will do

• Own delivery and technical quality for assigned design, planning and optimization projects.
• Act as solution architect for large and multivendor CS Core, IMS and EPC networks.
• Design network interfaces according to architecture, growth and capacity requirements.
• Plan and optimize IMS, MSS, MGW, TAS, PCRF, HSS, DRA, STP and related core elements.
• Resolve customer KPI and performance issues through deep-dive analysis and optimization actions.
• Create HLD, DLD and LLD designs for 2G, 3G and 4G services and solutions.
• Monitor risks, manage changes, and report budget and cost information.
• Provide governance and guidance on architecture, design standards, methodologies and documentation.
• Prepare technical solutions and Statements of Compliance for CS Core and IMS RFPs and RFQs.
• Lead architecture for 5G Core and network slicing across eMBB, URLLC, mMTC and enterprise slices.

Skills and qualifications

• Relevant experience in core planning, design and optimization across CS Core, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or EPC.
• Experience as an end-to-end solution architect for large or multivendor networks.
• Experience leading large engineering teams working on wireless communications systems.
• Strong core network and IP networking knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with core transformations, cloud/NFV migrations, capacity expansions or optimization programs.
• Experience preparing technical solutions and Statements of Compliance for RFPs.
• Experience with 5G Core, network slicing and integration with CS Core, IMS and EPC.
• Knowledge of operator network architecture and Ericsson or multivendor product portfolios.
• Hands-on cloud architecture experience with NFV/NFVi, virtualized or cloud-native core solutions.
• Experience with SIP, Diameter, GTP/GTPv2 and Radius protocols.
