Role Overview
Design, operate, and maintain the enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network-connectivity estate.
Deliver day-to-day administration, incident resolution, capacity improvement, and project build-out for switching, routing, wireless, connectivity, and network-access services.
Network Operations
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise switches, routers, wireless controllers, access points, WAN, SD-WAN, and internet connectivity services.
- Configure and support VLANs, routing protocols, QoS, NAT, DHCP relay, DNS forwarding, IP addressing, and site-to-site connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, utilization, availability, and capacity, and proactively resolve incidents and outages within agreed service levels.
- Implement approved network segmentation, wired and wireless access configurations, and remote-access connectivity.
- Perform planned maintenance, firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and lifecycle replacement activities.
- Maintain accurate topology diagrams, IP address-management records, configuration standards, and change documentation.
- Coordinate with telecom providers, network vendors, and managed-service partners through resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years in enterprise network operations, support, implementation, or administration.
- CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Enterprise, Aruba ACMA/ACMP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Arabic is desirable.
Compensation
- Pay starts from QAR 10,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work location is in person in Qatar.
- Candidates must be able to commute reliably or relocate to Qatar before starting work.
