Role overview

Join Frequentis Canada’s team in Gatineau to design, develop, and maintain products used in air traffic management communication systems.

Design software components that meet high-availability and real-time constraints while remaining easy to use.

Key tasks

  • Design and implement software applications.
  • Create and maintain software according to the development process.
  • Analyze problem reports and fix software errors.
  • Develop software test plans.
  • Deliver tasks on time and within quality and budget expectations.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2–5+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, N-tier architecture, and embedded or real-time development.
  • Experience with C++, Bash, Python, Linux, Subversion or Git, TCP, UDP, RTP, Wireshark, SIP, Docker, containers, UML, and sequence diagrams.
  • English and French bilingualism is considered an asset.
