Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Multi Technician (ASNT Level II)** to perform non-destructive testing and material verification activities in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in multiple NDT and material testing techniques.
Qualifications
- ASNT Level II certification in relevant NDT methods (UT preferred; additional methods an advantage)
Experience
- Minimum **5 years of experience after certification**
- Experience in **Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or related industrial sectors**
- GCC experience will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Perform **weld scanning using Ultrasonic Testing (UT)** as per approved procedures
- Conduct material testing activities including:
• Positive Material Identification (PMI)
- Hardness testing
- Ferrite content measurement
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Prepare and submit **detailed inspection and test reports**
- Ensure proper calibration and operation of testing equipment
- Identify and report weld discontinuities and material non-conformities
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams, supervisors, and client representatives
- Follow strict **HSE and site safety procedures** during all inspection activities
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of **UT weld scanning techniques and interpretation**
- Experience in **PMI, hardness, and ferrite testing methods**
- Familiarity with industry standards such as **ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO**
- Good reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Certification Requirements
- Valid **ASNT Level II certification (Mandatory)**
- Additional NDT certifications will be an advantage
