NDT Coordinator / RPO

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Operations & Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor **daily NDT operations** across project sites and vendor locations
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources effectively to meet project schedules
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of inspection activities
• Track project progress and ensure timely submission of reports and deliverables
• Maintain operational control from **office / warehouse**

Ndt Technical Oversight

• Provide guidance and supervision on all **NDT methods** (RT, UT, PAUT, TOFD, MT, PT, etc.)
• Review and verify **inspection reports, procedures, and documentation**
• Ensure compliance with **project specifications, ITPs, and international codes** (ASME, API, ISO)
• Support troubleshooting and technical decision-making during inspection activities

Radiation Protection (Rpo Responsibilities)

• Ensure full compliance with **radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements**
• Calculate and establish **safe radiation distances and barricading zones**
• Monitor radiation exposure levels and ensure adherence to permissible limits
• Maintain records of radiation usage, source handling, and personnel monitoring
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of PPE and radiation protection devices
• Ensure compliance with **ADNOC and UAE FANR regulations**

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and review **daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports**
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, manpower, equipment, and productivity
• Ensure proper documentation for audits, client reviews, and regulatory compliance
• Utilize computer systems and reporting tools efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum **12 years of experience** in NDT and inspection services
• Minimum **3 years of UAE / GCC experience (mandatory)**
• Strong knowledge of **all NDT methods and inspection practices**
• Proven experience in **operations coordination, reporting, and team management**
• Experience working on **ADNOC or major oil & gas projects** preferred

Certification Requirements

• Valid **Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) certification** (e.g., BARC L1or equivalent)
• NDT certifications (ASNT / PCN Level II) preferred
• Strong understanding of **radiation safety regulations and compliance standards**

• High level of **organizational and coordination skills**
• Strong knowledge of **ADNOC standards and procedures**
• Proficient in **MS Office and reporting systems**
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites

Working Conditions

• Based in Abu Dhabi with coordination across multiple sites
• May involve travel to **project sites, yards, and vendor locations**
• Flexible working hours based on operational requirements
