Leads learning and development activities across multiple properties, aligning training with organizational mission, vision, and business results.
Works with property leadership to identify employee and organizational development needs.
Training program delivery
- Promotes training programs and supports training efforts with the training cadre.
- Facilitates custom and corporate training on product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership.
- Observes employee service behaviors and provides feedback to employees or managers.
- Monitors class enrollment and attendance, meets participants, and assesses progress and concerns.
Program evaluation and planning
- Evaluates training effectiveness, employee skills, learning transfer, and guest satisfaction data.
- Identifies performance gaps with managers and develops, implements, or adjusts training to improve performance.
- Uses adult learning principles and aligns training with business indicators and service goals.
Budget management
- Participates in training budget development and manages the budget in line with Human Resources and property financial goals.
- Manages controllable expenses and uses a P-card when appropriate to monitor departmental spending.
Education and experience
- Requires certified trainer status.
- Requires either a relevant two-year degree and two years of related experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree with no work experience required.
- Relevant fields include Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major.
Work arrangement
