Mechanical MP Engineer role focused on maintenance planning and coordination.

Maintenance planning
- Plan daily maintenance activities and coordinate labor, materials, and services for reliable, efficient execution.
- Develop job plans and cost and time estimates; maintain maintenance plans and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Translate production work requests into detailed activities and resource estimates and prepare work packs.
- Review maintenance work plans, methods, procedures, and spare-parts availability.
- Support contract scope development, specifications, procurement, technical evaluation, and approval processes.
- Coordinate contractors and process their invoices.
- Coordinate with end users, supply chain, and contractors to ensure spares and materials are available.
- Maintain item masters, specifications, bills of material, item codes, inventory reviews, and buffer stock levels.
- Report work progress and maintenance KPIs; plan annual major maintenance work, budget inputs, resource forecasts, and procurement.
- Keep CMMS records and comply with company safety and integrated management procedures.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (12+4 years); Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrument disciplines are listed.
- Five years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industry.
- Competency and experience in SAP maintenance functions and maintenance master data.
- Hands-on SAP EAM work order module experience is preferred.
- Good HSEQ record and ability to follow operating procedures, work instructions, company life-saving rules, and management system procedures.

- Work schedule is 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
- Assignment duration is two years and renewable.
Compensation
- Monthly rate in QAR; all inclusive.
