Overview

Job Title: Mobile Banking SIT Test Lead- Mobile App (Native) Testing for Corporate Banking platform

Job Purpose

The QA Lead will be responsible for driving the overall quality assurance strategy and execution for the Mobile Banking application.

This role involves leading testing efforts, ensuring high-quality software delivery through manual and automated testing, and managing end-to-end testing processes across multiple systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall test strategy, test planning, and execution for the project.
  • Perform end-to-end functional and System Integration Testing (SIT) for mobile banking applications.
  • Own and manage the quality assurance lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet defined standards.
  • Participate actively in requirement analysis and planning, ensuring acceptance criteria are testable.
  • Collaborate with developers, SMEs, and product owners to provide testing insights during requirement discussions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Work closely with automation and performance testing teams to develop and execute regression test suites.
  • Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects using a defect management system; lead defect triage meetings.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Estimate testing efforts and define test approaches for each release cycle.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure testing timelines are met.
  • Manage and maintain test environments and test data.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish best practices in testing.
  • Own the SIT sign-off process for each release.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a QA Lead / Test Lead / Senior QA Engineer
  • Strong experience in mobile banking, digital banking, or fintech domain
  • Hands-on experience in SIT, end-to-end testing, and regression testing
  • Solid understanding of manual and automation testing methodologies
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-vendor environments
  • Exposure to performance and automation testing frameworks
