Mobile App Developer (Remote)

Role overview

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of proven mobile app development experience, including developing, deploying, and maintaining applications.
• Strong Dart and Flutter proficiency and understanding of mobile architecture and development best practices.
• Hands-on Firebase and/or Supabase experience; strong REST API, third-party service, authentication, and external integration experience.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or GetX; experience implementing and managing push notifications.
• Git proficiency and strong understanding of secure authentication, including OAuth, biometrics, and sensitive healthcare data handling.
• Advanced or fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; immediate availability to join is required.

Nice to have

• Shopify experience is a nice-to-have.
• Kotlin experience is a nice-to-have.
• Prior healthcare or telemedicine application experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve secure, scalable, user-friendly cross-platform applications for iOS and Android.
• Develop healthcare features such as prescription ordering, secure messaging, and patient information access.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, payment systems, analytics, notifications, and other external services.
• Follow applicable security, privacy, and healthcare regulatory requirements, including GDPR and HIPAA where applicable.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and Product, Marketing, Design, and technical teams.
• Test applications, resolve bugs, optimize performance, and improve user experience.
• Deploy and manage Apple App Store and Google Play Store updates; maintain application stability and security.
• Stay current with mobile technologies, trends, security practices, and industry standards.
