Join Snoonu's data engineering team to integrate data sources, extend ETL infrastructure, and support batch and streaming pipelines as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Integrate data sources using existing batch and streaming ETL systems and create real-time pipelines using infrastructure as code.
- Improve ETL processes with other teams and investigate data edge cases and data-quality issues for the BI team.
- Help teams extract warehouse data into their systems.
- Participate in ETL migrations to support consistent, performant, scalable designs.
Candidate requirements
- Programming skills, such as experience with several programming languages or Python frameworks.
- Experience with open-source tools such as dbt and Airflow; SQL skills including subqueries, window functions, and CTEs.
- Computer science fundamentals including design patterns, network protocols, and database design.
- Cloud systems experience, including areas such as AWS, GCP, message brokers, object storage, and query engines.
- Databricks, delta tables, and PySpark experience.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience or a desire to learn; AWS CloudFormation is an example.
