Role overview

Work

• Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend applications using microservices architecture.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, data services, and enterprise components across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Deploy and support applications on GCP, including GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud SQL.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues; support testing, debugging, and production stability.
• Work with product, quality engineering, platform, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions, improve processes, and support continuous delivery.

Required experience and skills

• Requires 4–7 years of strong hands-on Java 8+ experience, object-oriented design, clean coding, and core Java knowledge.
• Requires microservices and Spring Boot REST API experience, plus knowledge of Spring framework principles, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.
• Requires data persistence skills spanning RDBMS and SQL or NoSQL, ORM/JPA, query troubleshooting, and performant access patterns.
• Requires GCP application delivery experience, including compute, API management, databases, IAM/security, CI/CD, containers, logging, and monitoring.
• Requires testing, debugging, JUnit, performance analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Requires clear communication, client and business stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and independent task ownership.

Education

• Accepts a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, MCA, MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university.

Preferred qualifications

• Preferred: Oracle Java or Google Cloud certifications; Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery experience; Angular or React integration; and cloud security or distributed-system resiliency experience.

Shift schedule

• Shift timing is 11 AM–8 PM or 2 PM–11 PM IST.
