Key Responsibilities
- 1.
- Airport Retail Execution (Dubai Duty Free Focus)
- Manage listings, shelf space, and visibility within Dubai Duty Free
- Ensure compliance with strict merchandising guidelines and planograms
- Coordinate with category managers for **prime locations (gondolas, aisle ends, check-out zones)**
2. Multi-National Consumer Targeting
- Adapt merchandising based on **traveler mix**
- Focus on **gifting packs, premium SKUs, and travel-exclusive bundles**
3. Promotions & Seasonal Campaigns
- Execute campaigns around:
• Dubai Shopping Festival
- Eid al-Fitr & Eid al-Adha
- Peak travel seasons (summer outbound, winter inbound tourism)
- Align with airport-wide promotions and thematic displays
4. Commercial Negotiation & Visibility
- Work closely with buyers to:
- Secure **secondary placements**
- Increase facings for high-performing SKUs
- Support Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key operators
5. Stock & Supply Chain Coordination
- Ensure **zero out-of-stock** in a fast-moving environment
- Align with distributors and warehouse teams for timely replenishment
- Manage high SKU turnover, especially in impulse categories
6. Data-Driven Optimization
- Track **sell-out data, passenger footfall, and conversion rates**
- Optimize assortment based on **nationality trends and buying behavior**
7. Key Skills for UAE Market
- Experience dealing with **large operators like Dubai Duty Free**
- Ability to work in a **multicultural, fast-paced environment**
- Familiarity with **airport compliance & security protocols**
