Stock retail shelves and arrange products for customers; monitor inventory and report shortages or other issues to management.
Remove expired, damaged, or spoiled products.
Merchandising and store operations
- Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges and stock.
- Display products to attract customer interest and support sales; weigh, package, and price products.
- Coordinate stock replenishment with the inventory team and monitor stock movement, markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clearances.
- Follow food safety and sanitation controls; ensure displays meet company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Greet customers, provide advice, answer questions, and accept orders or payments.
- Maintain clean, organized sales-floor and backroom areas; conduct inventory checks and rotate stock to reduce waste.
- Recommend product selections and new items to the buying team.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent and 0–1 year of customer service or similar job-related experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills; ability to carry heavy items.
- Creative eye for design and attention to detail; knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
- Strong communication, task management, and customer-service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and employment
- Job type: Full-time.
- Pay: AED 2,000–2,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is Abu Dhabi; work is in person.
Commute and relocation
Reliable commuting or plans to relocate to Abu Dhabi before starting are preferred.
