Summary
Responsible for preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as per received documents and provides complete conceptual and total bid price.
Responsibilities
- Review scope of works, drawings, specification etc. upon receipt of tender documents.
- Prepare tender queries for missing documents/doubts.
- Participating pre-tender/post tender meeting with clients/consultants.
- Attend pre-tender /post tender meeting and carry out site surveys.
- Coordinate and review the quantities received from Bond international India Office.
- Review/generate BOQs against drawings.
- Estimate man hours, duration and resources required for variations activities.
- Prepare commercial and technical bid proposal.
- Prepare final contract BOQ after discussion with department manager based on agreed contract value.
- Prepare and submit cost comparison sheets for all supply and subcontractor items.
- Carrying out value engineering studies and preparing alternative proposal.
- Attending internal kick-off meeting and handover all the contract documents to the project team.
- Other duties as assigned.
