Summary

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from conception to completion.

Your role

involves managing project teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

You will work closely with the Project Director to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to resolve technical issues and implement engineering solutions.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that construction work meets quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Prepare and submit project status reports to the Project Director, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Manage procurement activities, including material orders and deliveries, to support project timelines and requirements.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to project teams for skill development and performance improvement.
  • Oversee documentation processes, including contracts, change orders, and project records, to maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction projects to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide guidance on cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
