About the role

Own on-site MEP engineering coordination for an active luxury construction project in Dubai.

Projects include private homes, villas, hotels, and resorts.

Work with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, procurement teams, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to in-house design and QS teams, third-party designers, consultants, and contractors through design and construction.
  • Review electrical, HVAC, and plumbing designs for compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and managers to optimize MEP systems integration.
  • Resolve technical issues during design and construction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and local construction regulations for MEP systems.
  • Manage and track changes and variations under corporate procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil or Building Engineering with a concentration in HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • 8 to 15 years of experience in design consultancy or with a general contractor.
  • Experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects, including homes, villas, hotels, or resorts.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Professional-level written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to relocate to and work on-site at the assigned project location for the assignment.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in a regional language relevant to the project location.
  • Experience in tropical, coastal, or other climate-demanding regions.
  • Experience with luxury hotel chains and their corporate design guidelines.

Workplace and assignment

  • Full-time, on-site role based at the assigned project site; the role description specifies Dubai for this project.
  • Projects may span multiple countries and regions.
