Oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver MEP systems within project timelines and budget.
Key responsibilities
- Manage planning, scheduling, and budgeting for all MEP aspects of construction projects.
- Coordinate MEP design and engineering activities with design teams and consultants.
- Coordinate procurement of MEP materials and equipment with procurement teams.
- Supervise MEP installation and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks related to MEP systems.
- Provide regular updates on MEP activities to project stakeholders.
- Resolve conflicts or disputes related to MEP design, installation, or performance.
- Ensure MEP work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–4 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Hands-on experience managing multiple MEP fit-out projects; fit-out experience is mandatory.
Working relationships
Internal relationships include the Construction Manager, Project Director, design teams, and procurement teams.
External relationships include subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
