MEP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site MEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works throughout the construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure that all MEP installations are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and project schedules while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Supervise and monitor all MEP works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.

Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and other project disciplines to prevent clashes and ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality, workmanship, and compliance with project standards.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure MEP works are completed according to project schedules and milestones.

Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions to maintain project progress.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, international codes, health and safety requirements, and QA/QC procedures.

Review and witness testing, commissioning, and functional performance of MEP systems.

Prepare and review inspection requests (IRs), testing reports, snag lists, punch lists, and close-out documentation.

Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical support, progress reports, and recommendations.

Review as-built drawings and verify completed installations prior to project handover.

Evaluate technical variations, change orders, and site modifications when required.

Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, approvals, testing records, and site activities.

Support the successful commissioning and handover of all MEP systems.
