General Accountant

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.

Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Preparation of Financial Statements:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.

Reconciliations:

Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Supporting Audits:

Prepare financial documentation for audits.

Assist in the coordination of external audits.

Budget Monitoring:

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures.

Provide variance reports to management.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Stay updated on changes in financial legislation and best practices.

Accounting Software:

Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) for transactions and reporting.

Assist in implementing new financial software solutions.

Internal Controls:

Assist in maintaining and enforcing internal controls.

Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.

Support the finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks.

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional Experience

1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
