Full-time, on-site MEP Coordination Engineer role based in Dubai.
Coordinates mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services across building projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and integrate MEP designs, prepare coordination drawings, and resolve clashes between disciplines.
- Coordinate with design consultants, site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support timely execution, quality compliance, and adherence to project specifications and local regulations.
- Attend coordination meetings, monitor installation progress, update documentation, and provide technical support to the site team.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and support continuous improvement in MEP processes and project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong MEP coordination skills and experience integrating MEP systems in building projects.
- Electrical Engineering and Building Services proficiency, including interpreting electrical drawings and building services layouts.
- Practical expertise in plumbing and mechanical systems, including MEP installation methods, codes, and best practices.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Good knowledge of applicable UAE or GCC building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary on-site work.
Beneficial experience and tools
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or similar coordination tools is highly beneficial.
- MEP coordination experience on commercial, residential, or industrial contracting projects is an advantage.
