Role overview
The role requires at least 10 years of technology development experience, including at least 4 years in Mendix delivery management.
Experience with software product development life cycles and managing multiple projects concurrently is required.
Role scope
- Deliver end-to-end software projects and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Lead multifunctional teams across development, quality, business analysis, and technical writing.
- Manage multinational teams, hire and train teams, and distribute workloads and resources.
- Size and estimate effort across software delivery projects.
- Work with integration techniques, architecture patterns, and deployment options.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; the description cites engineering, software engineering, or science, and also computer information systems, management information systems, or a similar field.
- A relevant master's degree may reduce the experience requirement.
- Extensive end-to-end software delivery experience and familiarity with software development life cycles are required.
- Advanced knowledge of integration techniques and protocols; familiarity with microservices and cloud-native environments.
- People management is required, along with project management and team leadership skills.
Leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multinational teams, hire and train teams, and efficiently allocate workloads and resources.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and English technical writing skills.
- Effort sizing and estimation skills are highly required; familiarity with hiring and training best practices is also requested.
