Execute and manage medium-voltage switchgear projects and products.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least four years of experience in the same field.
- Expertise in medium-voltage switchgear project execution and management.
- ABB, Schneider, Siemens, or similar experience; Siemens NX air, NX PlusC, 8DJH, and 8DA experience is advantageous.
- UAE experience is advantageous.
Technical scope
- Work includes AIS and GIS switchgear, relay panels, instrument transformers, contract review, engineering coordination, and panel manufacturing up to 33 kV.
- Technical areas include DMS, SCADA, IPR relays, CT/VT selection, SCMS protocols such as IEC 61850 and GOOSE, SCMS integration, control wiring, and interlock schemes.
- Third-party software includes CAD and EPLAN.
Responsibilities
- Manage panel manufacturing and coordinate PM, QC, production, testing and commissioning, and site teams.
- Manage stock and schedule tasks, conducting regular follow-ups to meet delivery timelines.
- Coordinate client visits and high-profile representatives and report regularly to senior management.
