Core responsibilities
- Maintain and develop key and prospective customer relationships for continuity and growth.
- Plan customer calls to identify opportunities and match customer needs with bank products.
- Expand share of wallet and cross-sell across the client portfolio; drive diversified revenue growth.
- Monitor accounts assigned to relationship managers and report performance and market developments to the regional head.
- Track market trends, interest rates, asset and liability positions, trade volumes, and credit facilities.
- Coordinate product and service marketing to maximize revenue and return.
- Review proposals and assess credit exposure risks to maintain portfolio quality.
- Analyze client financial statements and management practices to assess credit risk.
- Recommend, reject, or approve credit facilities within prescribed limits after comprehensive analysis.
- Structure corporate financial transactions and coordinate with Wholesale and Market Risk, Legal, and Operations.
- Ensure clients receive high-quality, timely service.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, with relevant corporate or commercial banking experience.
- Strong corporate credit and financial analysis skills, including financial statement assessment, credit risk analysis, and facility structuring or approval.
- Strong relationship management and business development skills, including corporate portfolio management, cross-selling, and revenue growth.
